2013 Points Series

The 2013 NCNCA Points Series is underway and the current results and standings, as of 5 March 2013, appear at the NCNCA Points Series page.

Alison Tetrick (Exergy TWENTY16) and Beth Newell (NOW and Novartis for MS) share the honours for Women 1/2. Tetrick is exhibiting excellent racing by getting herself into sprint-finishes in contention for wins at Snelling and Hilltop. Monica Harris (Fun Sport Bikes Cycling Team) leads the Women 3 Spring Points with Audrey Biehle (Rio Strada Racing) at the top for Women 4 Spring Points.

For Elite 1/2, Chuck Hutcheson (Marc Pro-Starva) is on top again after his outstanding season last year; so far this year, the Hutch has been on the podium in five of his six race starts. Nick Theobald (SAFEWAY/PureRED/Bicyles Plus) heads the field for Master 35+ 1/2/3 whilst Steve Heaton (Hammer Nutrition/Charity of Choice) enjoys a narrow three-point lead over Master 45+ 1/2/3 new-man Keith Defiebre (CyclesFANATICRacing.com).
